About Me
Andrew Mayiga Kaggwa is an Arts and Culture reporter.
Creative communication specialist and content creator, my role usually includes creating engaging content for brands, organisations and institutions.
A trained theatre, music and film critic, Kaggwa has covered and offered his service as a journalist, critic and media coordinator to festivals in Uganda and Africa such as Bayimba International Festival, Kampala Amakula International Film Festival, Cape Town International Jazz Festival, the Durban International Film Festival, Sauti Za Busara in Zanzibar and Kigali Up among others.
Kaggwa is currently a freelance writer and editor with one of Uganda's biggest newspapers, Daily Monitor, a panellist on a weekly art news radio show, filmmaker and podcast host.
